I love old machines no matter what they are.

I`ve been mulling over trying to excavated moms ravine because theres a late sixties era Honda Monkey Bike in there.....Green (monkey bike is what we thought they were called) (like a Z50 but very early with super low fenders made of plastic) (I can remember my rear one was half missing)

It was my first minibike but back then we dumped scrap metal and appliances in a huge ravine on our farm (because people didn't give a damn about the environment and did a lot of stupid stuff like this in the 70s)....its in the "early 80`s layer" in there.....surely, it`s trashed beyond re-use......makes me sick to think about that now

    Nice progress with the SL

"like a Z50 but very early with super low fenders made of plastic" that would be a QA50, cool bikes, tough to get parts for and most of them the transmission is broke. Dig it out!!! lets see whats left.

A few weeks ago I picked up a 67 S90 with 2CL90 frames, a set of wheels and some misc other parts for $100. Very cool old bikes. Hope the owner is a little more gererous with the budget on it lol.

Got the tank finished finally. I painted it and set it on a frame to dry, well the tank started to slip and yeah. So I sanded it down and re-spreayed, but the mix ratio I was given was wrong and it took about two weeks to dry. Last night I wet sanded and buffed it as good as I am going to on this low buck project.
