Very nice! Where did you get the Supertrapp exhaust? I thought they stopped making those and it looks new in the box.

The Supertrapp was new in the box. Had it for a couple of years. Yes, they don't come around much, and when they do, even the used ones for the 86/87 bring $$. If you notice, in picture 1 of the first post, I had a Supertrapp on there that I made from a 350x setup but used a cobra head pipe and modded it. Worked out really well. Then I found the original correct one so I saved it for the re-build. I figure, enjoy these cool NOS parts instead of looking at them in the boxes. It sounds mint.

Thanks for sharing! I'm SLOWLY rebuilding a machine that was dead when I bought it. This has to be the hardest machine to find parts for!

Super clean build on that 200X, WOW. Great job and you have some hard to find parts on that build so it's even more impressive. The dash pad looks mint, did you polish it up? I kinow it takes alot of time and $ to get one to look like that , 2 thumbs up!

^^^ Thanks for the great comments. The dash was decent, had some scrapes, but that wasn't gonna cut it for this build. I ended up filling it in with automotive polyester filler and hitting it with automotive flexible bumper satin paint. It took a lot of time and patience to get it right. I redid it 3x before I was convinced enough it looked like an OEM finish. It actually has been sitting since last summer when I did it, so its totally hardened and seems like it is not coming off anytime soon. So for now, its there. I have another dash I can put on there if this one gets weird. The plugs are the repros from original one that I sent to FlossyB.

Looks great....I hope you don't plan on riding it too much...you need to show that thing off!! Thanks again for letting me use your plug...I just sent it back today, along with another set of repros. I think I found a nice 200x dash to reproduce, so be looking for those soon too.
