that's what i was thinking, $6800 and another $1000 for a front tire and the tire looked almost flat too.

It looked awesome, but $7800? I wonder what it cost to have someone like VMS do something like that? Rick made it look good, but VMS makes it factory correct... has to cost more.

Not to mention that 1000 tire looked like it still had a big crack in the bottom of it when they zoomed in on it at the end.

Also... it's a 40yr old tire.. He made some money on that $1,000 price of the tire.. BUT ..a used one in that shape is $750-$1,000.. find a nice one.. $2,000-2,500... find a NEW 40yr old us 90 front tire.. expect to pay $3,500- $4,500... They are afterall no longer available .. and hard to find in decent shape with no cracks or dry rot.. and yes Mike at Vintage would have done a factory correct resto.. but that is TV for ya .. But hey.. The atc made mainstream TV and that alone is worth a "Hell YA!"

That was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad I sold mine,it needed all 3 tires. And that tire was junk, they had to have put some green slime in it to hold air.
