I'm contemplating driving out. I need 3 other people to go with me to make it financialy viable. Leaving friday evening, long hauling it for 42 hours driving in shifts. Hoepfully there by sunday evening, ride monday-friday afternoon. Rollout and back home by sunday evening.

I haven't been to Glamis in 25 years and I really want to go back.
I know a lot has changed - What's the camping like at Gordon's well?
I like the facilities at Little Sahara OK - hot showers, decent bathrooms. I can camp in the van.

No hot showers in Gordons Well, but there is a Holiday Inn Express about 20 minutes east of the dunes. They have bathrooms in the camping area that are "decent" You can camp in a van if you like but have to have a permit. Looks like the Texas ATV registration is recognized in Cali, or you could get an out of state permit. Other than that the camping area is a large sand flat.Originally Posted by jb2wheels
