Not sure if it is me or nto but thing is huge looking. I am loving it. That has to be a case of beer size trunk!

Latest part of the project is work on the fuel tank.
Our tank was pretty rotten and he wants to extend the tank by a couple of inches to take into account the longer frame.
To do this he has split the tank in two, pics below:
In the 2nd pic you can see evidence of someone using some kind of tank sealer, which won't help when it comes to welding it back together!

I know this is an old thread but I'm curious how it turned out. Really interested to see how it handled as a three wheeler with that type of rear end.
Progress was quick at the start of the project but it has slowed down some what now!
He is getting back on with it now and the tank is progressing I'll add pics as and when I get them.

He has made some progress on the tank. Surprisingly it is turning out to be more work than he expected...

More progress, with some rust repair pics and the cap dismantled for a rebuild
Just wondering if you did anything about that rust inside the tank before it got closed up?

It hasn't been closed up yet, just placed together for the pics
Once it is finished it will all be shot blasted, welded together and then a coating on the inside to stop it rusting.

Just read over this, very very cool! Any update? Guy does great work. That tank is something else!
How did it turn out? No updateds for a long time. Wicked fab skills
Due to one thing and another this project has been pushed to one side. I'll update the thread as soon as he pulls his finger out and makes some progress
