With a shed full of ATC's, extra parts, and other old stuff just sitting there, I wondered what I could do with some of it.
The kid's old red wagon had seen better days - paint peeling, rust, dents, flat tires, etc.
I figured I could clean it up a little and use it to haul parts around when I go to swap meets...but once I started taking it apart, a plan started to form.
The 200x I bought on Craigslist had some rear tires on it that had been worn down to nothing by the owner's kid doing doughnuts (which also blew the engine, which is I why I got it cheap). The 125m I got off CL came with a bunch of extra parts - rear axle, bearing carrier, hubs, etc. It only made sense to combine them all.

I cut and ground the mounting brackets off the axle bearing carrier to end up with just a tube. Then I welded a old, heavy duty license plate bracket to it to give me somewhere to mount the shocks and rear link arms. The frame is aluminum U-channel from Lowe's that's normally used as sliding window or door frames. The coil-overs are aluminum shocks from old mountain bike frames. The spindles are shifter kart parts from another project that never got finished. The suspension links are aluminum swedged tubes and rod ends from Speedway. It holds my 220 lbs with no problem.
I could leave it like it is (rat rod patina) or get the tub sandblasted and powdercoated red, with some pinstriping....
