    Excellent Video Explaining What a Rear Diff Is

    Sometimes when I try to explain to a 3wheeler n00b what a solid rear axle is, they look at me like WTF. Even when I try to explain what a differential is, it's quite often lost, and to be honest, half the problem is likely my poor explanation lol!

    I came across this oldie-but-goldie video created back in 1937 that does such an excellent job showing/explaining that I had to share with you guys. Sorry if it's already been posted somewhere, I did a search but couldn't find anything so here it is:



    Even knowing what one is and how it works, this video really does an amazing job at showing the thought process behind the invention.

    thats a really great explanation of the diff...i like how they gradually introduced more parts, to descibe how they were being used and working with each other
