This is long overdue, I have started a memorial page on facebook for our fallen family members of this community, but not everyone messes with facebook, so one belongs here. This thread is for pictures, stories, or whatever you would like to share with everyone to help our friends live on, and to help us heal from our losses.
Rest In Peace dear friends. I am comforted in knowing that when I die, you all will be there ready to go riding with me again. We miss you all, we love you all, and most of all we cherish the memories that we have of you.

Roger at Otter Lake ice races in Michigan. Roger ran the show for the ice oval as well as joined in the racing!

Sam's oldest daughter on her custom built trike. Sam was a very talented builder. He helped many people create some awesome machines.

Roger invited everyone up to Rose City Mi. to stay at a friends cabin for trail riding and socializing. This event happened every August and it now carries on in his honor. This is a fun riding trip to join in on. It has even been featured in Australian ATV Magazine!


I watched Roger kick this custom built 600X for several minutes trying to start it. Then I noticed he had not replaced the tether kill switch! LOL We got a good laugh from this. I actually ran into Roger, Sam, and their friends at this Ice race at Devil's Lake Mi. by accident. I didn't know them too well at this point, but recognised them from Trikefest.


Sam put the SMACKDOWN on everyone that day on his custom built Yamaha 450! Sam was the most talented rider I have met. He could ride any machine to it's fullest. He one many races and trick riding competitions as well. He is well known in this area for his wheelie riding abilities, people still talk about him!

Today is the first anniversary of the passing of our good friend Roger "sandpuppi" Steffens. Roger led an inspirational battle against cancer. He never gave in, he never gave up, Roger always planned for the future. I am blessed to have known Roger. He has left a lasting impression in my life, and I will never forget him. Please keep Roger and his family in your thoughts and prayers. His mother has now began her own battle with cancer, please pray for her.
