Do you guys reckon its worth it for $1500? Its a 1987 model in pretty good condition.
Keep in mind I live in Australia...

I have bought crapped out machines for dirt cheap, spent many hours of my time working them over plus not to mention dumping untold amounts of money into a project only to find I could have simply bought a nice one and been riding straight away. That is a very nice BigRed Alex !
Just missing one little rubber cover on the kick starter side (Ric from atc heaven has some of those),,, but yeah if I was wanting another 250ES Bigred that money would be well worth that one.

I agree, that is a great price for the Big Red. If you know the part number for the clutch cover, call a local Honda shop and see if they can locate one for you. Mine was missing and was luck to find a new OEM part at a dealer in the USA.

    Good luck!

I'm missing that clutch cover on my '85 as well. Did they come stock red or black?

Also, are those aftermarket foot pegs? The ones on my '85 are metal and are the fold-back style.

Hello there. I realize this is an old post. But...do you still have that clutch adjuster cap available? Just bought a beautiful 250es and it needs one.
