    Yamaha BW200 and 350 restauration

    Hi everyone,

One year ago I bought these beautifull big wheeled bikes. They
were used in a Monstertruck show in the Netherlands and Germany. Also
a Fatcat came with them, but that one was completely damaged.
We started with sandblasting an then they were powder coated.
The engines are also completely rebuild with al the bearings, seals, enz.
We also found some "Bigger" tires in Polen, and two new taillights
in Holland and Norway. The plastics are also all new from DCplastics,
and they fit really good. Now we only have to finish them, and then we
    will get them road legal.

    Regards,

    Rico

Nice work! I want a Big Wheel, but they don't come up for sale around here very much.

    Hi,

I´m still looking for an option for the fatcat ( picture ).
I was looking for another engine, or parts to rebuild the engine.
    What do you guys think?

    Nice work - looks fantastic!

You can get new plastics for the BW200? I had no idea!

When I had my 85, I could still get the tail light from Yamaha. Had to be 10+ years ago, though.

    Thanks, thanks.

The plastics are from DC, and the 2 new taillights I bought in Zeeland (NL) and Norway.
Now I´m just looking for the cover for the back of the battery/airfilter (BW200es), and parts for the engine of that
fatcat. I would like to rebuild that fatcat also, but the engine looks so bad. And the biggest problem is that I live in the Netherlands ( europe ), so
every little part I have to buy in the USA because fatcat´s were never sold in europe.
    What shall I do?

Your bikes are turning out very nice. You've done alot of really nice work. I have an 85 bw200 myself, and understand what a pain it can be to find some of the parts. I've actually found all my plastic as factory nos, except for the rear fender, which I'm still looking for. I would really like to have a bw350 though. Looking forward to seeing your bikes all finished.

What brand of paint and what color is it that you used to paint the gold rear wheel and hub? Again, very nice work. Your BWs are absolutely stunning!

    Hi,

    JP212,
I don´t know. Every part is powdercoated, I just asked for gold and
the gave me random the same gold as original.

Awesome job. I just got through tearing my bw350 down to each little part to sandblast. It's gonna be an adventure. Do you know what color of powder was used on the frames?
