    73 ATC 70 with Tracks

Bought this neat track kit and rear axle off Big Schott last month. Works great in the snow! I fabbed up some fenders and I still have to install some type of rear shocks to control the pivoting. I'm thinking of snowmobile ski shocks or I'll fab something up with compression springs. With the chain drive gear reduction I can cruise in third with no problems. Not the fastest but everyone who's rode it giggles away. Watch for updated pics later on.

P.S. Yes I know I have to fix my seat cover; it's not square to the foam, get off my back

I should have mentioned a ski is on the books for next year. With Spring...(?), around the corner I thought the tire would work better for now. Big Schott may have more track to sell to start with.

I haven't clocked it but I'm thinking 10-15 mph? It actually turns better than with tires on because the weight is distributed better out back. Not what I expected.

Too much fun ! I'll bet with a ski on the front, it will float over just about anything.

Awesome set up!! Got more info on this Bigg Schott guy or company?

Are the tracks one continuous track or do you fasten the ends together when you install them?

    Are the "wheels" plastic?

I need more pics!! Can you get me a pic straight down the middle with the track off when you take it off for the summer?

Thanks coolpool, you just added another trike project to my list. I might have to see if I can make something like this to fit my 200S and 200X.

I just realized I added one to many "g's" on "Big" in the original post, oops! Big Schott is a member on here and .org an he's from Minnesota. Here's a link to a thread about tracks on .org http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/showthrea...-I-find-tracks . He also sent me some pics via email that I can share if you send me your email in a PM. The wheels are plastic and the track is continuous rubber. The only markings I found on them are "NOMA Canadiana" Probably a large snowblower.

Those are awesome! I think he had said they were from a large snowblower. Did you make the trak covers? Looks nice just like that

Yes I made the track covers and plates to cover the fender holes. I'll be making pivot stabilizers this weekend (I hope).
