k so i found this today and i dont know how to fix it.sorry the photo is sideways.k so that plug can spin freely and i just noticed that it leaks oil from there. it looks like there is supposed a cap welded on there but its gone, do i have to get a whole new case cover or is it possible to fix it?

You need a new case. Looks like a shadetree fix for a hole that was punched through the case.

. so the bolt thats holding a gear on was completely loose and was grinding through the case making that hole...

That case could be fixed by a good welding shop that is setup to TIG aluminum. But it amazes me that it was tossing that much metal shavings around inside and it hasn't killed it! I would go through and inspect everything, clean it all out good. There must be a LOT of shavings in there somewhere.
