    Oswego NY test ride report!

Me and tecatedan were talking a few weeks back, the massholes decided to road trip here and try a group ride!
Fabio, tecatedan and Dirtcrasher rolled in midnight Thursday, sat up sipping a few cold ones w friends till 4ish lol. Dan had to work on competer fri so me, fabio, DC and tina315 rode friday durring the day. 1st and only breakdown of the weekend, fabios 225dr had spark issues. Added jeff dan and my gf jen to the group ride on friday nite. Justben and his brother justken (the just brothers! Lol) showed up 8ish. Decided to go listen to a band at a local tavern and ride sat!
Ridered250r and aldochina got here sat morning w the locals. We were 14 atvs in the group 4 quads and 10 trikes! Off to the trails we go!!!
Trails were alittle dry so we had some dust w a huge pack, next ride will have more leaders and spread us out a bit. Rode about 10 miles till we had our 1st issues, tecatedan took a 20mph curve at 40 went off the trail into a 8ft ditch w 3ft of water in it! The ditch is now named "dans trench" lmao!! From there we ordered pizza and wings delivered to a tavern on the trails for lunch 12 more miles to sip a few and have lunch.
Back on the trails from there we had our only real wreck of the weekend, as I was waiting for the group to line up a few went ahead of me, 1st guy stopped, ben was looking back at me to see if we were rolling, had to grab front brakes hard to not hit stopped rider, his T3 went over and he smacked his back and ribs on the grabbar.
From there we went back to sand track to play for a few hours till dinner time.
8ish back out we go w a smaller group to put miles on! Me, jen, dan, fabio, justken, aldochina and tina did a 35mile nite ride!! That was a blast! My 86 T3 got a flat, thanks chris for running me a portable compressor! Hit a different bar w another band on the way home, got to love wheeler friendly bars lol!
Soo 1 wiring issue, a few blown bulbs, 1 crash, 1 trip into "dans trench", 1 flat tire, 1 fall down 12 stairs (thats another story lol), alot of stories, alot of riding and great times w great friends!
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did! I learned alot about how to put a ride on and we will make the next one better! Thanks guys for letting me practice w you lol. Next trip will have more leaders and stashed fuel w coolers spread out better.
Im sure gopro and pictures will fallow!
We will definitely do this again!

    Thanks guys!
    MIK6/ Mike

Edit... forgot to mention that in a 10 mile ride there is a number of play spots, so its alot more riding than just a short trip lol.. I burned a tank thru each of my tecates!

Had a great time putting more faces with names of friends here on the board! And again, Im sorry guys for bringing my fuel sipping quad, I'll bring something with 1 less wheel next trip, I promise!

Got to see the nicest 2nd gen Big Red I have ever laid eyes on in person, finally got to see some mean-green-machines run (sorry Mike, had to pick on ya just a bit! ) and probably the highlight was hearing some classic "Fabio-wisdom" right there in person, from the horse's mouth!

I had a terrific time meeting some of you for the first time, and a few of you for the second time. It was a real pleasure riding with you all... Looking forward to next trip out!!

Here are the pics I got..
-Pic #1 is all of us at the second play area stop.
-#2 is DC sitting there in time-out all by himself ,
-Pic #3 and 4, well... IDK if Dan was taking a page out of Shelby Stanga's book and saw a gator and wanted to pounce on it, or if he just felt like taking a swim... Either way, he did it with gusto and rode it out like a champ!
-Pic #5 was right after we winched his SX out of his swimming hole. She fired up second kick..
-And the last pic shows the smile that can't be slapped off a person's face after taking a braaap on a Tecate Half-Liter!

Mike, thank you so much for your hospitality. As usual, the trike people opened the doors wide for their fellow trikers.

Mike's trail system is definitely the best trail system I have ever seen. The kind of riding runs the gamut from easy to challenging with everything in between, including simple, sweeping, banked right hand turns that you could easily make on a left-turn-only sprint car at full speed, yet some people can't make on their trike.

I had an absolute blast and loved the ability to ride right to the bars and restaurants! That's something completely new to me! It was great to spend time with old friends and make new ones alike! Mike's family are outstanding people along with his local friends, especially Jeff who helped us out on more than one occasion with his winch. Total success, top to bottom, and I wouldn't hesitate to make the drive out again, hopefully soon! It was great to put new faces with names as well, like Ride-Red 250r (Joe) who was as nice in person as he is on the boards. Great people indeed. And Just Ben's brother, Just Ken as well.

At least two trikes per rider. Myself, TecateDan, and Dirtcrasher=6 trikes! It was a good thing because we each had our own issues.

My favorite part! Riding to the bars and restaurants!

Rory after bench pressing his 350X. I kicked his ass after this pic.

Our new member, Tina315hxc, on Dirtcrasher's spare 350X. I cannot say enough about this girl's riding abilities! I was nervous when Steve pulled his spare rig out for her, but she did hours on this machine and on a multitude of varying terrain, including simple, sweeping, banked right hand turns that you could easily make on a left-turn-only sprint car at full speed, yet some people can't make on their trike without any incident. She did go over backwards once on my SX, but I do that multiple times daily the way I ride on the rear wheels all day.
