    86 250r rear master cylinder

ok , on my r that that has ben sitting for 10 or more years , the rear master got stuck in the compressed position and wont budge. I had it moving a little bit but now its not moving as much as it was

any tips and tricks , I have it soaking in pb blaster now.

very little fluid in both brakes, front ones where pretty easy to fix , but this back one is a pain.

might just have to find one of those ltz400 master cylinders that are supposed to bolt right up

I have been through that a few times you have two options.
    1. Most grease guns if you spin the barrel off the end have the same threads as the banjo bolt threads. You can block the resovior tube off with a bolt and tubing and screw the grease gun onto the master cylinder and pump it until the piston comes out.

    2. Drill a holein the piston. 1/8 should do it. Drill it deep apprx. 1 inch. Next take a 3 inch decking screw and run it in the hole witha power drill until it is tight. Clamp the screw in a good vise then smack on the housing of the master cylinder with a 2x4 or plastic mallet until it drives the housing off the siezed piston.

If you can't get your master to work a z400 master can be used with some minor modification.

    This should help: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...esto-mod/page3
