Is it worth It?? n1985 250 es big red

I found this post on craigslist and im not sure if it is worth it. It is a 1985 250es big red. He says it has been sitting for about 3 months but he said it started up with no problem. It needs a new front tire and he says that is runs strong. As you can see in the picture it needs work. Just comment and let me know what i should pay he wants $500 but its been up for a week.

I personally wouldn't pay 500 for it, it need rear fenders, seat covered tire or tires and not to mention little stuff ,I might give 350 because it look like it was rode hard. You could spend 500 fixing it into a good rider but you may get it cheaper if you talk him down.
