Yesterday I was also able to get the preliminary tank mounts done, as of last night this is how things sat and I thought this would be final location for the tank.

Or so I thought. I was wrong. After I picked up the A+ replica front end today (thanks Bruce) and did some test fitting I can definitely see that the tank needed to be lowered a hair in the front. The tank position will probably get tweaked some but it's pretty close as it sits now.

The fenders and seat are off my blue atc70, I snagged them temporarily for fitment and brain storming purposes.

The front end is only loosely hung on the frame without bearings but it gives a good idea.

Great looking build Louis. Have no worries about that motor mount area that was made to fit. I had to hog out quite a bit more than that on my 150 build and I have pounded that little fella on the flat trac for a couple years, very safe and sturdy. I really like the tank mounting. Looks like plenty more room than most builds of this type. Did you just move stock mounts up? Anyway....keep up the great work, awesome!!

    Hmmm....

Got some shiny stuff in the other day.

Also got these "Xowner" aluminum rims and brand new tires, same size as stock 16x8.00-7 for the OEM look and maximum flotation for a soft ride in the rear to compliment the suspended A+ replica front end! (2 rims/tires shown but bike has all three)

Tank is from japan. Wheels are from Xowner here on the boards. Thanks for the comments! Can't wait till I can do some real assembly! Still in the parts acquisition and refurb stage but it'll go together quick once I have all the parts sorted and ready!

OK, now I know why you sold me the pittster. I didn't even blink knowing it was from you but I guess I'll ask, is the pittster a good motor as well? I was happy with our deal but now I'm a bit nervous that you may have found it to be a poor upgrade?? and got a Pirahna instead.
Let me know your thoughts if you could Lou......... Then we can delete this interuption.
