I have a 110 and a 125m. Both 1985 models. The 125 is bone stock and the 110 is with exception of a DG exhaust (I hate it, to loud). It seems like the 125 will pull the front up a little easier if trying to do a Willie. But its hard to notice without riding them back to back. One area i did nottice is the lights seem better on the 125m and in a drag race down the road. I am 220lb and my friends about 125lb. The 110 would always come out of the hole first but the 125m would start walking away from the 110 about halfway through 2nd gear and keep pulling till they topped out. Thinking it was a weight difference we swapped rides a few times and the 110 always jumped off the line and the 125m started pulling away. Either way they both are fun rides. If shopping for a new ride I would look for a 125m just for the electric start.
My wife and I have a couple of 110's that we have fun with. I decided to upgrade my wife's bike to a 125m just for the electric-start. (I'm the one that has to keep starting it if it dies.) There's also the advantage of having so many parts that will swap between the two. I just acquired a complete early 125m runner for $400 yesterday. Too bad I have so many other things in front of me at the moment... I want to tear into it!
I may be old, but I still enjoy the feeling
of the earth rotating beneath my wheels
