peeking into the future,, atc70 build

last week I decided to start on a new 70 project,, well something from my past told me to do it 3 times instead of one,,,, so I am building 3 70's

here is where we start SWINGARMS,,, yep suspended 70's its a big bite, but I am up to the challenge, first frame will be+3 then a +2 and standard length for the third one.

well here it is compared to an A+ frame.. frame is 3 inches longer and the swingarm is 2.5 longer,, I am going to make the backbone .75 higher to help with carb clearance problems that are common with all these bigger motors,,, should have a roller soon...

    Richard,
Whats the plan for the forks ?. I've been wanting to build a set of tripples for mine, but just don't really know what direction to go with the forks.

I think it will be a little bit of a pain.. but I HATE SKATEBOARD WHEEL CLAD SISSORS FOR CHAIN TENSION,,,, besides buy good chain,, and on a 70 you won't have to adjust I much anyway

BOB for the first 3 I have very nice OEM Honda xr80 forks these came off some real low hour machines .. from there I have a supplier that can get almost and forks,, so it
probably will depend on price ,,,

do I smell possible kits for sale in future? Spanglers crf70 conversion kit is $4K and R55 conversion is $2K. Those things look great! Your builds always get my attention.
