upsizing carb?

I am putting the 300r kit on my 1982 250r and I want to upsize the carb to a 38mm or so but I was wondering where a guy could find an upsized intake boot or if anyone has had success adapting the stock boot to an oversize carb? Just hoping someone could drop some experienced knowledge on me, thanks

FL350 intake fits. I have that on mine with a 36mm. Mossbarger makes a universal intake for the 250r uses bolt on boots. Or you can find a old school adapter like that also.

Not a problem if you didn't care about the airbox. Any intake off the newer Rs will also work. I know the 85-86 Intake will fit the motor and will also allow for a larger carb.
