Thanks fellas! I usually ride on about 600 acres of lowland hardwood timber that belongs to one of our landlords, but around there, nobody really minds if I ride on their land, as long as I don't make a mess or bother anything. I can ride as far as the gas in my tank'll take me! And yeah, the buffalo gnats were alot worse than I expected em to be that day lol.

That's a pretty nice build Stonewall. Only thing I was thinking is that the beverage holder has to at least match the height of the snorkel and exhaust.

"And I kep' it, I knew I'd use it somewhere..."

Sounds like me and my dad, we have so much random nicely shelved and labeled. Ad we use a lot of it with the random things we end up working on.

    Mud Nats Aftermath

    I SURVIVED MUD NATZ 2014!!!

That was crazy as hell, and probably the most fun 2 days EVER!!

The Big Red was a huge hit, heard lost of folks hollerin "Look at the 3 wheeler guy!" while I was ridin haha. I only turned it over once, but I don't remember exactly how it happened...

    Broke stuff:

    The cupholder didn't make it.
The exhaust stack is bent slightly foreword and left.
The transmission now only works in reverse.

The transmission finally decided to crap out on the way to the sand pit Saturday night, which was not that big of a deal because by then all the good ridin was done anyway. This'll actully give me the perfect opportunity (and excuse lol) to get more cc's for this thing. It is SEVERELY underpowered in the mud, and I want it to kick ass. I'm thinking at minimum a Fourtrax 300 engine with a 380cc kit in it.

I wore the GoPro around on my head and have about 6-8 hours of stuff to go through. I'll post up what's suitable lol.

I'll try to get some up in the next 2-3 weeks, I have alot of video to go through. From what I've looked at so far I kind screwed it up a little, the camera angle on my head ain't that great lol. Battery life on the camera was kinda an issue too, and I missed some good stuff because of it. I'll do better next year lol. Wore the shirt you sent me all weekend! It's permanently orange now haha. Want me to send it to ya so you can hang it on the wall?

I definitely had the most modified 3 wheeler there. I forgot to post the other 3 wheelers I saw tho. IIRC, there were 4 other 250 Big Reds, a 200x, and a 185s that I saw while I was ridin around.

Well I still ain't got any videos up yet, but since I went home over the weekend, I got some pictures of the aftermath lol.

The week before Mud Nats, I decided that it wasn't redneck enuf, so I cut off the turnout on the stack, and replaced it with a chrome raincap.

So after a awesome weekend of rompin around, turnin over, and breakin stuff, it sat in my trailer for 3 weeks until I could take it back to Arkansas. Here's what it looked like when I pulled it out of the trailer friday.

So it turns out that I don't have a transmission issue after all (aside from the clutch slipping badly). Turns out I tried to make the extended driveshaft tube look a little too nice, and ground off too much of the weld. It probly broke one of the times I jumped it....

After I got it all cleaned off, I took the swinger back off and fixed it. I also added in a brace so hopefully I won't have that problem anymore. Had to drain all the watery oil out of the diff, and filled it back up with fresh. I didn't take any pictures of the repair, it's kinda ugly because I'm not real worried about appearances on this rig. I took some pictures of it parked next to my dad's stock '85, so y'all can see just how much bigger it is.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I turned the shirt CaptainWeezy sent me orange lol.
