Dohc, don't worry, I'll still be buildin a bigger engine for it. It's gotta come out anyway because the clutch is almost gone.

Blown 331, I want that picture too lol, and I plan to get it. I'll post it up when I do.

Wait till I get a set of 30's on it, slashfan.

30's? Good lord. Those are almost as big as our pickups tires. Almost.

Yup, gonna get these wheels powdercoated and put them back on it. Not sure yet what I'm gonna do for the front, maybe a 30" Zilla for flotation, they're about the lightest tire that tall I think.

what kind of rim are you running on the front? it doesnt look like you have a spacer on it. i need to find a 12 inch rim so i can get a 27 inch tire on the front of my bigred but i dont want to have to use any kind of spacer

Its a 11x7 ITP Steel with a 2+5 offset just like the other 2. No spacer needed. If your going to run a 12" wheel I'd recommend a set of ITP Delta Steels. Get then all 3 with a 2+5 offset and they'll work without spacers. It'll be about 1/4" off center but with most tires thats no problem. The Vampires on this are wider than most and eat a hole in the right fork boot because of the offset, which is partly why i dont run boots.

i already have 27 executioners on 12 inch ss212 itps on the rear. i just need a bigger wheel for the front since no body makes a 27 inch tire for a 9 inch wheel. i think im just going to put a 27 inch mudlite on the front

I'd nearly say that this build deserves to go into the top tier section with Stonewalls other Big Red.
I know it's not as pretty looking as some of the other builds in that section but it is well thought out, thoroughly detailed and very very cleaver.
I'm predominantly a sport trike kinda guy but I cant stop checking out this thread.
I like it so much that I honestly believe that I will be building one like this in the near future to show up all the local quad mudding guys round my area.
I do agree though that a Big Red that bad ass need a bad ass engine to suit!

    Great build buddy.

I think that's what Mondexbrute did for his front tire. IIRC he used a ITP delta steel. A 2+5 offset wheel should work fine, whatever style you want to use, as long as the center hole is large enough. You could probably put another SS212 on the front to match.

Resurrecting an old thread here. Life and other things get in the way and projects get put aside but not forgotten. I was finally able to get this Big Red down to Texas permanently now that I have access to a place to ride, and it has the duals on it now too! Need a larger front tire still, and Mr. Dunlap's 350 kit is looking very tempting...

Side note, snorkels only work when the 3 wheeler is upright haha...

Love the build. Especially the extension. I didn't realize how simple that would be. Looks like the duallys really could use more reduction... Poor clutch is taxed

I really want to put a reduction in it, but information on those is really hard to come by, I can barely find out anything about the 54% reduction that seems to be commonly used on Fourtrax 300's.

So how is this wheeler now? Did you ever get another engine in it with more power?
