So the rear shock was not the factory shock? I always thought it sat low. I just thought the rear tires were bigger than factory so thats why the fenders would rub on hard compression. That was the only 225dx i ever rode so i assumed that was factory.

Yea, the rear hubs are yamaha 4x115. I broke the centers out of the 3 bolt rims from cornering too hard. So thats why i changed to those.

It was from a yamaha xt100 I believe. I did some more work yesterday. Got the front brakes fixed, replaced the broken arm. Put on a new cable and brake lever. Put a new tire on while it was off since the old Carlisle was cracked and bound to pop soon or later. Early yamaha brakes still amaze me how bad they are. Hell, the front drum is not even sealed. Neither is the back I guess but that's just disc. Guess I'll try new pads in the rear and see if that helps.

I also tried replacing the neutral lights bulb, cleaned up the connection points, still nothing. I'll have to trace it and see about the problem. I kinda don't wanna replace the headlight since I'll need to splice it in since the plugs were cut off. That's for another day though.
