Two cans should do it I think. I have one on the frame now, but it obviously needs more coverage. I'm figuring the second can will finish the frame as well as cover the radiator guard. I realize this is an oil cooled bike, and behind the radiator guard is an oil cooler, but it's a Tecate part and on the Tecate it was a radiator guard. You can call it Ray, or you can call it Jay, but just remember, Glamy is gay*.

They were just under $20 per can, I just checked. I thought they were almost $50, but that's the Shasta White, not the red.

Neat idea on the spray booth, should save on some headaches dealing with weather. A small exhaust fan might keep things clearer in there and don't forget to wet the floor for dust abatement before you spray. It also helps the overspray from sticking to the concrete.

I don't remember if I said on here but after I had ordered my parts I found out my exhaust valves were lunched, so I ordered a set from Wiseco. That set me back a week.

This is why we lap valves. It's been probably 20 years since I rebuilt a four stroke, so I had almost forgotten. A guy on Thumper Talk reminded me, so then I ordered valve lapping compound as well as the lapping tool. That set me back another week, but I'm in no rush. These would not have seated correctly at all if I had forgotten to lap them in.

    Guess which side is lapped?
