ATV Illustrated Top 10 Most Influential Honda ATV's

Not sure if this was posted, and it's a few years old, but I wanted to share this. ATV Illustrated did a top 10 list of their most influential Honda ATV's, and not one, not two, but 4 three wheelers made it onto the list.

Shame they left the iconic 85 Honda Big Red 250 off that list..it laid down the design pattern for the next decade in ATV drivetrains.

Bit of an oversight there I think!!

Well they did give that generation a mention. So that's worth something.

I agree, that's pretty cool. Typically it's one or the other.

Where's the 81 250r? To me, it set the true performance market on fire.

I must say I was a bit disappointed that they left the first gen R out, that puppy really set things off.

I'm a third gen fan first and foremost, but I would say the first gen is more influential than the third. The trike world was dying by the time the liquid R came to life. As evident by the number of third gen's that didn't sell and were cut up and shipped to tech schools.

True, but then you have to consider the sheer badassness of the third gen and just how good they actually were.
