Are they both Pro vectors, or is one the P/V 701? The P/V came after production runs if I remember right. May have changed a bit, as you can see, taller, a little more balloon shaped

They are different sized tires. The 350x ran a 22" tall rear and the 250r ran a 20" rear.

Darius that 350X and 250R look brand new! are they restos or original factory bikes? To clear up some confusion, "rg97", I have learned here on the forums that in early production runs of the "1986" 250R/350X/200X came with spelled out PRO VECTORS but later production runs actually came factory P/V 's. Yes OHTSU P/V tires were on late 1986 models and the 1987 200X/ 250SX followed with the OHTSU P/V also.

Thanks man...they restored mostly. Some I've completely torn down and restored (like the Tri z), others like the 350X's just had fender polishing mostly. ATC 250R I got in 2003 when you could still buy all new fenders...so I totally did. Here is some trike candy:

You have some nice bikes there Darius!. I spent hours last night sanding the fenders on my 350X. They were actually in good shape, just had a few deep scratches so I started off with 300 grit wet sandpaper and worked my way up to 2500.

I'm waiting for the new decal set to come in, then I'll finish it up by compounding the fenders, then use a nice clear coat wax that I have from Zaino Bros.

Interesting...send me a pic of that wax bottle. I'd be curious to know about it and if it works well.

Basically, I'm going to use the Z-14 Plastic Cleaner/Polish first. If I'm happy with the results then I'll just use the spray on sealer directly after applying Z-14. If not, I'll take an additional step to use the Zaino (All in one) product (after applying Z-14 Plastic Cleaner), then apply the spray on sealer.

But since I'm a stickler, I'd probably use all three in tandem, but it's probably not necessary.

Thank you Darius. I just received the new decals so I'll take a before and after picture of both the front and rear fender. The plastic is currently off the bike.
