.... or maybe to " TigerHolic".

I dont see why that motor would be so hard to find. Those were built around KTM 80cc Motocross bikes. I would imagine a mid 80s KTM 80 would be TONS easier to find than the rotax motors of the bigger bikes.

Great to see pics of that little jewel!

umm, mines a 250, but its certainly no 85 250R!! they are the greatest machine ever to come out of japan since the betamax!!!!!!

PS, I HAD a 1985 or so KTM 80 sitting in my barn for a while, But I got rid of it. I got it for the lil holic, but the thing was beat, motor turned over though. I shoulda kept it, but the chances of me buying a rolling 80 are pretty much ZERO.

i would get a crane...or a backhoe depending on the size...and see if it can lift up this concrete slab...it would be worth the effort...

i would try for the rotax for that baby. it probly cranks more than an R engine, especially in that flat track 80 frame. plus the origonal engine would be nice for a resto. i hope you do get that 80, it would be a nice addition to the 250. peace out, tony.

Yeah.... that lil TIGER 80 put out 23 hp stock. My 350X stock is only rated at 28 I think! As light as it is and the 2 stroke zip, that things would fly!

    about the motor

Why would you tear down a barn with stuff still in it, and even then you wouldn't pour cement over whatever you just wrecked, i dunno wouw cement would afect it, may have crushed it.
