    so that's what they're called...lol
    I know there are different types I just figured one was for bigger drivers!
    its annoying when you get them and you are using an impact driver and it instantly strips the bit or screw head.

    been telling people this for years, this explains all the stripped out Phillips heads on bikes I always seem to get.

    I've been working on Japanese bikes and trikes since the early 80s as a hobby and had no clue about this until I read it on the back of a Motorcycle Consumer News last year.

    That was a DUH! moment. How did I miss that?
