200E, no spark. Test light, no voltmeter
Have an 83 200E, needs works, going to get it running.
Has compression, fuel, air. No spark. I have a test light, but no voltmeter.
Spark plug is good. Harness looks good. test light 'lights up' at connections all the way to the ignition coil (pictured) but not after it to the plug.
Is this an accurate test to indicate a faulty coil? I'm not terribly good with electric.
Other ways to test the coil? Could these results indicate a different malfunction?
I'll borrow a voltmeter from work and run through everything again.
Got the 200E for $100, fun buy, but for that price everything needs work.
