Deer lease 83' 200ES Any help? Any help at all?

    I have a 1983 200ES with a locked up motor. And a 1984 200es motor I'm using.
    Now I have questions,
1.) Do gaskets matter between 83 and 84?
2.) Can I rig a basic starter system? Like battery->key->starter? If so, how?
3.) Will my rough hill country deer lease destroy a 2 ply front tire? Should I go with like a 4 ply?
4.) Best way to carry a deer? Front rack?
5.) Will regular spray paint just cook off of the engine?
6.) Anything else? I should know?

I'm going to put new bearings front a back and completely cover the chain(Missing outer guard)
And keep a spare at the lease.
    Thx,
    "D"

I went to move the 83' today, need room to do a motor swap in my ranger, and noticed it was moving really hard. By the time I moved it across my garage slab, I was panting, it was that stiff in the rear end. What does that mean? The rear bearings are bad and it has been sitting for awhile, and does running it out of oil put my trans at risk? Or...

you've got me stumped on this one, 1983 200es was chain drive, 1984 200es is shaft drive, not sure how you made the swap?, but would like to know. If it helps, i have a good 1983 200es engine less the top end, would be pricey to ship though...............

I don't understand how a chain drive tranny can interchange with a shaft drive tranny?? also if you run your engine it will affect your topend more than your tranny your piston will chew itself to pieces or seize up.

I guess you'll find out about the tire. If it's very rough, I'd try to find a trailer to haul your deer with.

83 is a 200e ,,, 84 is a 200es . Seems to me you might be taking on more than you can handle . Good luck .
