Cool Can we clean these FCR carburetors with non-chlorinated carb cleaner??

Just like it says. The 32 FCR made the 200X a rocket ship so:

Putting a 39MM FCR on the 350X with a ported head today. Gotta whip up an intake!!

Regular carb cleaner was ruining inside gaskets/diaphragms etc. etc.

Will the non-chloronated work, otherwise I'll just use gas.....

    Thank you!!

It works. We've had to start using non-chlorinated chemicals so we can burn our waste oil in the new waste oil furnace. Have not had a problem with any carb.

    This is what I use

GOOD stuff and doesn't hurt gaskets/o-rings and will eat through any kind of grime and crud. I use it for oil sludge, grody carbs, gunked up rear ends (in automobiles and bikes), it'll cut through grease, and what ever else you want. PLUS it'll clean your grill!!

This is the carb from my 07 TRX450ER. Bike sat for 3 years with a full tank of fuel and the petcock "on". This was after using ONLY the Dawn.

One of my families 'little secrets' but i figure some of you punks are cool enough to know LOL
too many bikes to count. too little time on hand.

No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

I use crown pcs 1000 in a drum mount parts washer to clean everything its essentially naptha (lighter fluid) and it doesnt swell gaskets or dissolve them nor harms plastic. Can buy 5 gals at a time from tractor supply or the like..and just use it to dip..enjoy
    Trikes currently
    86 200x
    85 200s
