Just wondering how often do you clean the oil filter rotor on a atc 200I

I was just curious how often do the oil filter rotors need cleaning I am in the process of putting new rings and cam chain in my 84 200 es I was given and cleaned the filter I am real happy with how clean the engine is on the inside only a small amount on it and some on the case cover The owners manual says every 30 days this one was never done I am sure mike

I've always wondered the same. I've had my ATC 200 for 20 years now, and never cleaned the oil rotor.
