    T's BigRed Rebuild

    ok guys,

    past few days been tearing down the bigred.

    here is where it sits now,




    it got the tire.lest then a year old to.


    here the tank

    next few days we are going to pressure wash the frame.and tank sand the tank to the metal.

    tank looks pretty bad i know.


    score a transmission set for it for 35 bucks shipped.couldnt past that put

    It is looking better already! Just getting the melted body work off of it helped a lot. Still got that airbox if you need it, and could probably find a few other goodies to donate as well.

    thanks for the offer,but i think we have gotin all the parts to get it back into shape.


    now questions.

    ever since we have had the 3wheeler the driveshaft boot has been busted.we plan on takeing the swing arm out and replace it.

    the problem is.we dont know how to get it off.

    we found the bolt that holds it on.but it hasnt seen daylight in about 20 years it looks like.how do we take it out? anyone got any pictures or what not.

    the right side has the night on it.but its all rusted and crap.i can get pictures if needed.

    hey guys,dose anyone have any wireing dirgrams or pictures of the wireing harness with tags with what gose were?

    we have a wireing harness and i know where the front of the harness gose but when it gose to the back,i have no clue where what gose were.

    update!

    we got the swing arm out. driveshaft and diff are still tight no slack.

    we pressure washed the rear end.and cleaned the drivshaft tube.

    gas tank is striped and ready for some paint.


    its getting there.cannot wait to have it running again.
