85 350X frame cracks

Could someone describe or show me where the 85 350X frame cracks are common? I may be going to look at a 350X today and would like to know where to look for the cracks. ETA: Any other pointers or tips on issues or potential issues to look for would be appreciated also.

Above the left foot peg.

Around the rear seat mounts.

Look for crank case damage in front of the chain. Many have holes wear broken chains punched through.

You`re gonna gusset it any damn way......xr650 project ?.......don`t pay too much ...like no more then $900.......i recommend Honda`s awesome atc 250r instead .

I was thinkin 900-1200. It has electric start, but that's why I asked about the frame cracks, so I could get myself a price range.

A 250R is on the list. One of each ya know? I already have a 200X (well, a couple and they are both in the project stage, but a guy can't have too many projects right? )

Pickens have been kinda slim up here this summer. They're either junk or high buck machines, and not many 350X's or 250R's

I did do a search in Trikesylvania, read a couple threads, etc. Never hurts to reask a question and maintain verificatiojn.
