Old member just back after many years

Hi everyone ! I used to be a member on here a long time ago, I think I even sold my tri-z project to someone on here tri-z Jim maybe? That was years ago and I'm back now with three Honda 110 and a astro converted 86 tri-z , the tri-z I was looking for more info on the conversion kit but haven't found much on it. To be honest I hated the four wheel kit at first but finding it kind of rare I want to fix it up and keep it the way it is.

While I'm trying to figure out how to get the rest of the pictures on here let me share the story of this 1985 atc 110. I bought this for $400 because of the nice shape it was in and the fact it had a title. I really didn't spend any time looking it over I just handed the cash over and loaded it up. Brought it home and noticed it smoking a little and thought no big deal but it was leaking oil pretty good and at first could not pin point it. Well after looking it over I found oil was coming from the air box, yep blow by. So tore the motor apart found the clutch wasn't put in right which caused damage to the primary gear, and some other parts, piston was shot which I had a hard time finding a new one. I had it bored to the next size up due to cylinder damage at our local shop, So far I purchased new clutch plates, springs, complete gasket kit, front and rear sprockets, chain, carb rebuild kit, new piston kit, new shindy valves, and new brake pads. Started putting it back together found out I have the wrong valves and the cylinder was bored out to small for the piston as there is no ring gap. So right now I'm waiting on that.

Here are the valves and you can see how they are different. The part number is right but the valve keepers won't hold it right.

Another pic, this one came from a farmer , it has sat for years the stator cover off so it was all rusty, rear bearings shot, replaced stator, new air filter, cleaned carb, new rear bearings , upgraded brake drum to a trx125 drum , new brake pads and still have a lot to do but it runs and the lights work!

I found the issue on that valves, eBay has listed all these valves work for 1979 to 1985. They will work for those years but the valve retainers are different 79-83 than 84-85. So to use these in a 1984-85 model you have to have the older 79-83 style valve retainer.
