    YTM200 clutch adjustment

I have a ytm200 I got from a guy. I got it running, but when I upshift, it is a little hard to shift and goes straight into gear it seems with out disengaging like my other auto clutches. Is this an adjustment? Where is the adjustment? What is the correct tension? Is it similar to my ytm225?

    Thanks,
    Marc

there is an adjustment, same place as your 225 and you adjust it just like the 225 loosen the 14mm nut and turn the screw counter clockwise till there is tension then back it off an 1/8th turn and tighten the 14mm nut back down

OK that is a different story, you have to pull the clutch side cover off and the adjustment is right on the clutch. You will need to loosen the two nuts and then tighten the flat head bolt until you have slight pressure then tighten the two locking nuts back down. I do recommend getting a side cover gasket just in case yours doesn't want to come off when you remove the cover.always make sure you thouroghly clean the gasket area's before trying to put the cover back on so you get a good seal.

and before I forget, to keep the clutch from rotating, use a penny or piece of lead jammed between the clutch gear and I want to say the crank gear, cant miss which gears I am talking about.
