That sounds like a cool idea. If you had an old stop sign, you could cut it in half and make fenders out of that. You wouldn't even need to paint them if you didn't mind having the letters ST on one fender, and OP on the other.

I have found that black and yelled striped low water bridge signs make nice fenders lol.
