    250es swing arm install questions

    hey guys.

    how do you install the swing arm on 250es bigred?

    is there a way you have to center it? mine is binding up

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean by bound up? The swing arm has a fixed pivot on the left side and a removable pivot on the right. You stick the fixed pivot in the bearing on the left and turn the removable pivot until its snug then install the locking ring and tighten.

    and of course you have to install the propeller shaft on the left side when you install the swing arm.

    bound up.will not move at all. its holding its own weight up with out the shock attached.

    what do you mean bye fixed pivot?

    what pivot bolt do you install and tighten first?

    Excuse me, my mistake. The ES has removable pivots on both sides.

    If the swingarm is not moving then one of two things has happened. Either the pivot bolt on the right is way too tight or the pivots have fused to the bearings.

    no there new bearing,

    im asking is there certain to install the bearings.like put one in and torque it and then put the other in.
