    intake boot swap

    I have a 1982 Honda ATC 250r.

Will the 85-86 Honda ATC 250r intake boot fit on my 82?

reason I ask is cause I got the bigger carb and need a bigger boot now... too hard to stretch the boot on mine

Yes the liquid r intake with bolt right on.You wont beable to use your airbox because of the angle of the liquid r boot.

    Options Chris,

I have done "overcoats" on intakes so the inside can be opened up as much as needed.
The material I use is the same I make Tecate intake boots from and has the ability to stretch a lot.
50 dollars shipped back to you in Canada. PM me if I can be of assistance.

Im going to do the bigger carb mod this weekend..

I have a boot and reeds from a 1984 250r.. should I swap the reeds as well from the 84 to my 82? or use the reg reeds that came with the smaller carb?

Just wondering what you ended up using for a carb, intake boot, reeds, and how it all worked out.
