'85 200x shock bushing and gasket removal

So my 200x shock has free play so I removed the shock then tried to remove the bushing but it's so thigh I can't even take it out. The bolt fits thigh in it and fits thigh in the shock mount. I looked at the top shock mount and the bolt fits thigh in it too. There is no free play anywhere! but when it's all installed, there are. The swing arm bearing are new and the bolt too. Where could the play come from?

Also, I've blown a top end gasket. Is it hard to replace? Do I need to remove the engine from the frame?

Play is fine. Motor has to get pulled to replace top end gasket.

So it would be a "normal" play?

I believe it's ok to have some movement
