it should dry out a bit by then, the desert is a funny place you would think that any rain would penetrate right in but rather it remains on the surface, so even a half of an inch remains for weeks, the awesome part of the rain is that of the desert blooming plants are wonderful, i'm so glad you will experience GODS rollercoaster, it is truly undescribable
