    honda 90 flat tracker

I traded some atc 70 stuff last week for this little trike, kind of an ugly little trike but I think it's neat. I'm wanting to install a 70 wheel and hub on the front. will the 70 front hub fit the 90 axle or are they different size? Im not sure if the front axle that's in it now is the factory one or not. Any advise on how to go about the 70 front tire and wheel will be greatly appreciated.

Those kart tires make that rear fender look cool. I bet that'll look neat when it's all done up.

Thanks ghost I really like the way the fenders look also. Need to do some research and see what all you can do to these motors and what's available aftermarket wise. Would like to make it a nasty little flat track bike just for the hell of it lol. Anyone have any suggestions on the front axle to be able to run the 70 hub and wheel?

RJM, can't tell in your first pic what type hub was used to mount the original go kart flat track tire/wheel assembly, but if your going to use the ATC70 wheel assembly they are 3 on 100 bolt pattern. You should be able to use a ATC90/110 '85 thru '80 axle and tube spacers assembled with your hub and would install onto your forks no other mods needed.

Hey thanks HJ! That's what I was looking for. The axle that is in the go cart setup is just barely to big. I thought if nothing else I would find a machine shop and have them mill it down so it fit. Thanks again!! Now I'll look for a 90 axle setup

Are those 90 rear hubs bolted to the kart wheels in the back, or some other kind of setup? More pics please

I too want to see the hubs. Being it has Us90 foot pegs and fenders.. Could it also have the US90
Axle and the hubs for the one piece wheels. I don't know the bolt pattern. But, I'd guess some kart wheels
    Might fit.

If you use the 90 spacers and the 70 hub on a 90 front end it is bolt on. I did it on my 1979 90 and it worked fine. Also the axle splines are the same.

One thing is for certain your rear axle assembly is from a early era '70 US90 thru '74 ATC90 6 spline axle and hubs. Those early axles where smaller in diameter and would bend easily, need to keep right side axle/hub nut tight tend to work loose when riding. Rear fender looks to be '73 and front fender '74 Daytona Orange plastic fender.

Any luck finding a front axle?

If you wanted to, you could put the atc70 front end on it to lower the front down some. Then you could the run all the stock atc70 front end bits and it'll level out the stance some.
