As mentioned, there are, but by friday they can get pretty nasty. We bring our own bathrooms with us. You can get the personal tents, shower bags, and portable toilets for under $100.

it was for my son and myself........here at home I been known to take two showers a day but for some odd reason, we kept INTENDING to hit the showers but one time it was packed so I kept riding around, then I went to wash my trike at the back pond and while I was waiting which is where I ran into/ met mattdragontamer dude. I fawned all over his green Taurus and he offered to let me ride it.......which turned into another distraction....and then we said "we`ll go shower later, LET`S RIDE!".....and that`s pretty much how it went for all three days we were there. We intended to shower but honestly we would rather be riding. Our trikes got more baths than we did ahahahaha.

I figured why bother? It`s like making your bed in the morning......it`s futile because you`re just gonna come home and mess it right back up a few hours later and I guarantee that less than an hour after a shower, we would have been covered in mud again and smelling like a sweaty crack

Hi, I'm Jasons brother. I called in to TF on the Saturday last year for a recon. I now have a few bikes and living near Chicago.

Now its booked, we will have 3 generations there, from 5 to 65 years. Both me and Jason will also have <3month old babies at home so any sleep and comfort we can get when away will be welcome!!

Will be collecting up plenty of things to set up a base. Well, chairs + grill mainly.

Had a great time last year and hope to meet plenty more riders.

You probably won't sleep good at trikefest unless you are a really heavy sleeper, or get on the sauce pretty heavily before bed.

So is there running water available to fill shower bags on site or if you go that route do you bring your own ? Also is there any way to wash trikes there or a carwash in the town or something ?

Yea both are available. The faucet for shower bags and such is located on the end of the office building bead the big barn.
The hose for washing trikes is located down the hill on the other side of the same barn near the pond.

We've stayed here before. Only thing is that it's off the path a bit but nice place to stay.

I understand if some people can't stay on site for whatever reason and obviously it's great to just make it there in any capacity, but the real experience I feel is to stay on the grounds. Just saying in case a big hotel trend starts...
