    '85 Honda ATC70 cylinder head

Im trying to fix up my ATC70 and found a bent exhaust valve. I ordered new OEM parts and ran into this....the valve guide will not slide over the valve stem. Is this normal? Do I just need to get past the valve stem end? Do I need to install the valve guide in the head, bake the head in the oven and freeze the valve to get it in? Any tips would be appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Ryan

are you sure you got the correct yr head and valve? if you got a cheap chinese valve that could be part fo the issue. the valve shoudl slide right into the guide w/o any issues. if i does not fit, something is wrong. good chance you got the wrong valve.

Valve guides are meant to be reamed to the proper size after installation in the head. Special tool, don't try to use a drill bit. Any motorcycle shop will be able to do it for you for less than the tool costs.
