What are the mx classes and...

What are the MX classes at Trikefest and what safety gear, engine criteria, other things to know? I have a fast 250es and a very fast 350x and want to race them both. Also what time Friday do they start?

Here is a link to last year's MX thread.
After you read through it, I can answer any other questions you many have.
http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...LTS-now-postedMX will be at noon on Friday, June 26, 2015.

Thunder God, you will end up in '4-stroke open' and either 2-stroke 'novice' or 'advanced' -- depending on your experience level.

2-stroke novice with the Big Red??? Lol. I would say I'm a very experienced rider, but have never raced on a track before.

Ooops! My bad. For whatever reason, I read 250R.
Sorry, a 250ES would put you in Mid-Size Suspended class.
You would be racing against 250SX and 200Xes mainly.
It is a fun class too. I have run it before.
Pro tip: Zip tie or bungee your headlight in place if you are going to jump it.

Would be nice to come. I've got a 36' Coachman sitting in the driveway, and access to a 24' enclosed for the toys. Just finished building the new shop, now the wife wants to bulldoze the house and put a new one up. It will be hard to leave if I'm in the middle of a build. Stop by for a Blue next time your in town. Might be able to go if my permits aren't ready by then.

Is there MX racing on Saturday? I realize the main event is Friday, but I can't make it Friday and still want to see some MX action.

There are people riding the MX tracks pretty much all the time. There are no "Races" on Saturday though. Most people's attention shifts up to the drag strip on Saturday.
