    1979 atc 70

Bought a 1979 atc 70. Doing a complete rebuild. Bought this neglected little guy for $150, drove 350 miles round trip but totally worth it. Plan on 3" stretch, foot brake mod, 140 motor, tall bars, and a slew of other mods. I will post as many pics as possible, any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I ordered the ape 100 gas tank to cover the frame stretch. Is the ape 100 a direct fit or are there other mods to do to make the tank work? Thanks

I have the APE tank on mine. It's not a direct fit. Rear mount is fine but you'll have to make new front mounts. I have a real easy way to do it if you're interested. I'd also cut the old ones off and weld them shut if I were you. I wish I would have done that on mine.

Don't mind the crappy looking plastic. I still gotta polish it out.

Nice, yea hook me up! I was planning on plugging the old ones if they didn't work. My said the tank came in today. Just ordered a bunch of parts from spanglers. Got other stuff coming in from ebay. I'm gonna talk to the town welder about making a hinge mount for the fender, I want mine to use the kickstarter.
