Gauging Interest in Ceet "Team Green" 86-87 Tecate Seat Covers.

I have contacted Ceet regarding remaking the original seat cover used on the Factory Team Green bikes. They would like a minimum order of ten. Looks like it would be around $80 shipped in the U.S., give or take a few dollars. This is the cover minus the wrinkles of course.

Bkm, I'd like 2 of the mean team green covers for an 86, like in the #1 post.

Okay I've got close to ten guys interested. I'm going to contact Ceet on Monday. In order to get this done I will probably be taking the $ pre-order to insure we have the $ in place for ten covers. Once all the money is in place and the label is exactly like the original I'll place the order. Once I hear from Ceet I will provide the details for the pre-order.

I wonder if Ceet would be interested in doing the old tank covers.

    The photo in post 1
Is that an original team green cover?
Looks like the seat is thicker.
I think ceet used to make the 86 kxt version 1" thicker if we could get the thicker foam and cover I would be in.

Good eye Phantomracer, with the low profile fenders i am not sure. The cover in #1 was found like that on that ex- racer in a barn by what I read in other posts. Foam height could be a big concern for correct reproduction, good point.

I've also wondered this. Hi-Flite and Ceet are now the same company from what I've been told and hi-flite makes foam for both generation Tecate's. I will contact them and see if their covers are for oem foam or thicker foam and if the replacement foam is thicker.

The pictures I received from the owner of Steve Mendenhall's factory racer looks like it has thicker foam.
