The rest of the pieces arrived. Took plenty of pics before I dropped it off at the machine shop with the piston. Getting it bead blasted as well to remove all the red paint. Gonna high temp clear over the clean metal.

Got my Jug back from the machine shop yesterday. Going to install it today. What are the torque specs on the jug and head?

Also, arrow on piston points toward exhaust, correct?

    Thanks,
    Leo

Awesome! Thanks for this. Didn't get much done today as my son had his First Reconciliation at his school/church, had lunch and it was so warm out, I passed out on the bed. Must have been exhausted from the work week. Gonna pick this back up in the morning.

Thanks. Gonna get some pics up as soon as I can. I'm a perfectionist and the bead blasting wasn't perfect as there was a little bit of red left behind. Anyways, hit it with some Engine Clear and moving on. Bore/Hone look awesome tho.

Make sure you do a proper break in! VERY VERY IMPORTANT

do your heat cycles.. run 20-1 mix, USE GOOD 2 STROKE OIL

Got some time to do the re-assembly. Roller Bearing I bought was the wrong size, mine was a bit larger. Anyways, mine was in good condition so I re-used it. Used Assembly Lube on the bearing, piston rings and shaft and cylinder walls. Got it all together and did a quick compression test and 170, now that's a whole lot better. Should get better once the rings get seating in.

I also replaced the 150 main jet and put a 155.

She fired up on the 2nd kick. I also took a quick video, smoke is burning off all the lube. Took a quick spin around my yard and adjusted the a/f to 2-1/2 turns from close. I can already feel the new power I got from that overbore. Can't wait to get it out to the Desert and open it up.

Will do. For the record, the extra compression really wrenched my right ankle when i went to start it up a few hours later to show my wife. Swoll up like a balloon.
