Not a bad price. I think it's the one on the kx500 forums. There's video of it running on page 2. It's a sweet bike. I would buy it. I have more into my build already.

Anyone who thinks the price is outrageous either builds junk, or has never built a Tecate. Much less a 500. There is a build thread on this site somewhere.

Looks like you sold it my friend. $6000 would be worth every penny, in fact you would be getting the better end of the stick. I had the opportunity to ride this beast and it was one of the most amazing rides I have ever had the pleasure of throwing a leg over. I'm sad I won't see it anymore but best of luck to you Ken on your next adventure and I'm sure you still have the 1st gen to ride.
BTW, it is everything it claimed to have! Ken don't build junk.

I wasn't implying that it wasn't by any means, I was merely clarifying for the OP that to actually do all of those things for that trike wouldn't be possible for the price tag. Trust me I know, I bleed green.
