Hey guys! So far i've had 4 three wheelers

1- 1983 185s that i restored and then sold ( thread http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?t=170955 here)

2- 1984 200m ( damn great machine! )

A 1984 honda 200x. And my plan is to completely disasemble it and rebuilt it.

The 87 tank decal will have the HONDA in black instead of blue and the triangle in the A of ATC on the rear fender will be black instead of blue also

currently working on my 85 200x build. mine came with brand new white maier plastic for an 86-67 200x which fit but im going for all orignial. too bad you are in canada or id give you a decent deal on them.

Hey guys big update.

last monday i bought another 200x for part for 350$. Its in really good shape compare to the first one so ill strip the new one and take best part of both atc to make the ultimate 200x haha :P



Heres the new 84.

and couple things i already bought

fender brace



front stainless braided brake hose



rear master with integrated reservoir



87 decal but mine will have the honda in black and the triangle in the A of ATC in black



new front master



front kx 100 caliper for my front caliper




Ill will also buy a cr85 front caliper to act as a rear caliper on my x

Does anyone know which rear brake line fits good on a 200x?

I was surprise because i have alot of goodies with the new one

supertrapp exhaust
oem tool box (missing cover but ill try to make one)
renthal handlebar
good working not bent fork
good rear shock
chrome grab bar (maybe DG?)

I need some opinion guys.

Rear and front fender will be white.

The frame/headlight will be black

And now the scoop

White or black?

If i choose white it will have the 87 decal on the tank

If i choose black ill put the 85 honda wing sticker.

The rear fender will probably have the 85 decal ( the best lookig in my opinion )

So the tank? Black or white scoop?

here's how mines going

paint the motor a flat black with a wesco piston 10.25:1

I just ordered my white maier fender set with super scoop!

The frame will be sandblasted next week and paint in black also!

Also bought the engine today!

Its a 250cc lifan/loncin whatever chinese brand honda clone and best of all it has electric start !



Also its the OHC version not the OHV



The biggest deal is going to mess with the wiring but im not really afraid of that!

With the exhaust and modified airbox with uni filter i hope it will top at least 22-24 hp.!

You may need to put a little more into the motor for it to push that kind of hp. That is a good start though. You will likely need to rejet the carb for it to run right which will also give it more power. What carb are you going to use?

X2....unless that Loncin has some wicked bore/stroke that I am not familiar with, 22-24 hp is a bit high even with an exhaust and upgraded air filter

The 250 with best carb and exhaust can give him about 15-16 hp unless he tears into it and does a lot of internal work.

A 30mm carb will be use and the guys at the shop i bought it said 19hp out of the box. I dont know if its true but the thing is it will be at least a little more powerful than a stock 200x.

I just saw the numbers for the pushrod version of the lifan 200cc and it says 16hp. I know its not whp but i tought that the 250cc ohc would have a little more than the 200 ohv...no?

Hey maybe so, only real way to tell will be on a dyno. What gearing are you running?
