Figured I would update this build as I have been very busy at work and I just need to tie a few loose ends. One of the main things is fenders. They are so expensive. I really would like something new but I feel that everything that maier produces looks good but doesn't seem reliable. How hard is it to fit 83-85 200x fenders or 81-84 250r fenders? Also waiting on the take to be repaired and redkoted. I got a quart for $30 at o' Reilly which seemed cheap to me. I also acquired a complete rear end off of an 84 200x from a friend for $100. He's got a really nice set of rear fenders that I want but I don't know if they will fit. My shop is a complete mess due to time constraints an inability to clean up after working. I will update as more steps get completed. I'm ready to wheelie this biitchh!!!!

I would try 2nd gen R rear fenders or the 200x should be easy to do !!! you may nee to change the rear spacing on the mount! Click image for larger version.

I think that is the route I am going to take. I should be able to get one or the other locally. The 200x may be the easiest to acquire but you never know.

Installed the rear brake, used a 60" Chinese brake line w/ $15 left handed master cylinder. I've said this before, they are a biitchh to bleed, but when you get it you got it!!!

I grabbed some 1st gen OEM fenders locally for $100. Andy's ATC always hooks me up and gives me 1st pick at a discounted price. Just waiting on the tank to get brazed and coated and she will be sparked and burning.

By no means is it bolt on but with some measuring-cutting-drilling and patience turns out that it isn't too hard. Although the seat pan fit isn't perfect. It's good enough for me.

Had to sacrifice 30 yr old ohtsus for I'm guessing 25 yr old ohtsus. These old tires are a biitchh to unseat and just as hard to get the new ones on.

ID:	215483 Looks like I'm gonna have to get new tires.

I tried and tried to salvage sole history but it looks like we are gonna have to go with whatever bike bandit has to offer. An hour ago I was chugging beer and throwing tools. I'm over it now. Gotta clean up and roll on.

With that being said. Any recommendation on some solid tires for 200x rims front and back? I don't really know what it's out there.

I would put dura nobbies on the back. And a kenda front max on the front.

Well I didn't go with the Duros, instead I'm gonna give the wanda knobbies a shot. The price was legit and I haven't heard anything negative about them. I got one on the trike now and I like the way they look. The ohtsu that's on the other rim is continuing to give me a run for my money. I got a kenda max for the front. Still waiting on the tank but I have another tank that I can use to break the motor in. Hoping to let it eat this weekend. Although, that is yet to be seen.
